About Government Training MIS Portal

The MIS portal was developed to support the state government's youth employment initiatives by streamlining enrollment, training, attendance, assessment, invoicing, and reporting workflows for future entrepreneurs.

The system serves four key user groups: Program Managers, Trainers, Center Coordinators, and Candidates. Each role has tailored functionality for managing training centers, assigning batches, recording attendance, assessing candidates, and tracking progress across programs.

Objective

The primary objective was to create an efficient MIS platform that could coordinate multiple stakeholders involved in youth employment programs. The portal needed to help teams enroll candidates by sector, caste, and education background, manage training centers and batches, record attendance evidence, export reports, support assessments, and generate invoices for each batch.

Challenges

The project went through multiple functional scope iterations, so the main challenge was not a single technical blocker. The team needed to keep the system flexible while ensuring it could handle a large candidate base and connect all stakeholder workflows in one reliable operating platform.
